ATR’s fourth studio release was made at the Hellish Vortex studio in Berlin.
As one of the lead singles from “
Is This Hyperreal?”, “
The Collapse of History” was one of the album’s many highlights. Throwing listeners for a complete curveball where
Alec Empire flexes his early 90s hardcore influence by intertwining stadium sized jungle breakbeats with a national anthem. Now
ATR,
Digital Hardcore and
Dim Mak Records have teamed up to offer you the chance to remix this modern classic.
A message from
Alec Empire:
"
Atari Teenage Riot originated in the techno underground rave scene in the early 90s. DJing was what started the group's activities. Since then a lot has happened. I keep meeting producers and DJs from all kinds of genres of electronic music who love
ATR. The idea is to have the new single spread out to all those different areas and connect them!"
