As the Mannheim based label Harthouse is planning to release the remixed version of Boris Brejcha's highly acclaimed "Schaltzentrale", you are invited to take part in the first ever competition from the history of the label!

For this unique contest, we are calling both music producers and graphic designers to help shape the future digital release. Out of all the remixes submitted by the end of the 3 months of competition, 4 tracks will be chosen for the digital release of Boris Brejcha "Schaltzentrale" The Remixes.

And this is not all! We are also inviting you and everybody you know to design the artwork for the release, giving you the chance to get your work seen all over the Internet, with credits to your name.

The label Harthouse was founded in 1992 in Frankfurt/Offenbach by Matthias Hoffmann, Heinz Roth and the well known Frankfurt DJ Sven Väth. Harthouse, in the early years from 1992 to 1997 a sublabel of Eye Q Records, was a plattform for young newcomer artists. It was designed for the more harder, more minimalistic sound, the sound that  didn't fit into the commercial line of Eye Q Records. Sven Väth commented on this:"We wanted to create a stage, a playground - even an experimental one - and I think we quite succeeded." In the beginning Harthouse defined a sound that today is well known as the "Sound Of Frankfurt", a harder but danceable version of "Trance" - "Hardhouse" or "Harthouse".
